Workers’ Compensation

Ohio Workers’ Compensation is a no-fault system, meaning that a worker’s eligibility for compensation does not depend on who is responsible for the injury or illness. If you or a loved one has experienced a work-related injury, disease, or death, the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation can provide you with medical and compensation benefits at no additional expense to you or your employer.

Violations of Specific Safety Requirements (VSSRs)

Personal Injury

If an employer is found to be in violation of a specific safety requirement which gave rise to a work related injury, disease, or death, the Industrial Commission of Ohio (IC) may assess a penalty ranging from 15-50 percent of the maximum workers’ compensation award as established by law. The percentage awarded then goes to the injured worker or their dependents.

Personal injury law protects people who have been hurt because of someone else’s negligence or wrongful actions. If you’ve been injured in a car accident, slip and fall, workplace incident, or by a defective product, you may have the right to seek compensation for your medical bills, lost wages, pain and suffering, and other damages. Our firm is here to help you understand your rights, hold the responsible parties accountable, and secure the financial recovery you deserve
