With more than 45 years of experience practicing worker’s compensation as hearing officer for the Ohio industrial commission before starting Finnegan Legal as a representative for injured workers, Matthew has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the area. Over the course of his distinguished career, Matthew has earned a reputation for integrity, depth of knowledge, and unwavering dedication to achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.

Matthew began his legal career in after graduating for the Ohio State University law school in 1986, building extensive experience in workers compensation and related legal areas. Throughout the years, he has guided individuals, families, and businesses through complex legal challenges with a steady hand and practical insight.

Known among colleagues and clients alike for his extensive knowledge and strategic thinking, Matthew continues to set the standard for professionalism and excellence at Finnegan Legal.

Perry has joined Finnegan Legal as an attorney after recently earning a Juris Doctorate from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where he developed a strong foundation in worker’s compensation and personal injury law. Before becoming an attorney, Perry spent several years working as a law clerk at Finnegan Legal, gaining hands-on experience assisting with case preparation, legal research, and client advocacy in worker’s compensation.

During his time as a clerk, Perry developed a reputation for attention to detail, thoughtful legal analysis, and a client-focused approach. Now as an attorney, he brings that same dedication to representing clients and supporting the firm’s mission of providing practical, effective legal solutions.
